Who: Florida International University (FIU). We are a large public university in Miami, FL. Check out the website for more detail. More specifically: we are External Relations for the university. We oversee the brand, public relations, news and communications and marketing.
What: We are looking for photographers or videographers or preferably someone who can handle both, even if they may be more skilled in one or the other. We have two positions available, a senior multimedia producer and a junior level multimedia producer. Skill, work experience and responsibility differentiate the positions.

I love my job but on days like today I could not imagine working anywhere else. FIU is making a difference and living up to the claim of being Worlds Ahead. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Malek Adjouadi. His research is helping doctors at Miami Children’s Hospital better map the brain and reduce the need for more invasive procedures prior to operating on epilepsy patients. They use an xbox controller as the interface to study 3d brain models.
